Okay, be honest with us, how many times have you watched Disney’s new animated movie Raya and the Last Dragon?
The movie released in theaters and on Disney+ Premiere Access a few weeks ago and there’s been a continuing explosion of Raya merchandise, food, and experiences since. Even McDonald’s is getting in on the action and making their Happy Meals even happier with Disney toys. And, heck, we were so inspired by the journey that Raya and her band of misfits took that we whipped up our own Raya-inspired Starbucks drinks! Well, now there’s a way to learn more about the journey to find the last dragon from home!
It’s 2021 and we’ve been experiencing quite a few things in life virtually and now you can go on an interactive adventure alongside Raya with Disney Animation’s new website, Discover Kumandra.
The journey will take you through all 5 lands of Kumandra where you can meet the characters who live there. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the concept art and work that went into bringing this movie to life!
Through an interactive map, you can choose which land you want to explore and click through the art to learn about the creation of the movie. It’s so immersive that you just might start to feel a breeze in your house when you’re on your way to Talon! Well, probably not, but you can use a fan to really set the mood.
Plus, you’ll learn more about the characters that Raya meets along her journey, including the versatile sidekick Tuk Tuk!
If you need a break from rewatching Raya and the Last Dragon on repeat, or just want to study up on the movie before it’s free to all Disney+ subscribers, head on over to Discover Kumandra! You just might end up an expert on the lands after your virtual journey! Stay tuned for more Disney news and updates!
