Earth Day is coming up soon (April 22nd) and we’re getting ready!
A new Earth Day collectible key is set to release soon, we’ve checked out some Earth Day shirts online, and we’re gearing up for some great Earth Month activities in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. But, soon some NEW Earth Day games, stories, and more will be available for you to enjoy no matter where you are!
Already have the My Disney Experience app downloaded on your mobile device? Well, if you don’t, here are some MORE reasons why you’ll want to download it!
On Earth Day, April 22nd, the My Disney Experience app will have ALL kinds of fun, Earth Day-related content. You’ll get the chance to learn about Disney projects going on at destinations around the world! And you’ll also get to see how you can participate in some activities from home to help make a difference in the world around us.
But, that’s not all! Looking for some Earth Day games to play? In a special new series of mini games, you’ll be challenged to listen VERY closely and see if you can identify what animal species is making the noises you hear!
And in a special episode of Disney Parks Wild Sights, you’ll get to meet the Nigerian dwarf goats of Kilimanjaro Safaris! These are the goats that now live in that area surrounding the mystery building we had been watching for so long. The Cast Members will share a bit about how that habitat came to be, and you’ll get to see some of the ways Disney is helping to protect animal habitats all around the planet.
You’ll also get to download some exclusive wallpapers in the My Disney Experience app featuring our Nigerian dwarf goat friends, Sumatran tigers, and more. There will also be some virtual backgrounds available for your online video chats — you’ll have the coolest Zoom background around!!
But, the My Disney Experience app isn’t the only app you’ll want to download for Earth Day fun. On the Play Disney Parks app (this is the app that lets you play games in the parks and at home, and that turns into a datapad in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge) there will also be a special edition of trivia available all about Earth Day. That special trivia will launch on April 23rd.
Check out the video below for more info on all the Earth Day fun coming to your mobile device.
We’ll keep an eye out for more Disney news and updates and share them all with you!
