Well, it’s Disneyland’s reopening day today.
But today’s not the only day we visited the resort this week. To make sure you’re up to date on all the news in Disneyland Resort, we’re bringing you an update on ALL the latest news from earlier this week too. Take a look!
Disneyland Resort Food Updates
Disneyland Park Churro Cart
During the select group previews at Disneyland Park, we tried the new Birthday Cake Churro at the Churro Cart.
TBH, it tasted just like a regular churro — but with blue sugar!

Cafe Orleans
We’ve got a pretty unfortunate update over at Cafe Orleans. The Monte Cristo is now a HALF serving.
This updates a pretty big bummer and get this, the plate is still $21. Now, we’re paying the same amount for a handful of fries and half a sammie?! Hard blow.

California Churro Company
And we didn’t JUST try the Birthday Cake Churro. We also got to try the French Toast Churro at California Churro Company.
This sweet costs $6.95 and was VERY yummy. The star of the show was the maple syrup for dipping!

Disneyland Resort Construction Updates
Disneyland Theme Park Reopening Previews
As we mentioned, some guests were allowed into Disneyland and Disney California Adventure earlier this week for previews. We spotted folks heading in!
One of our reporters who was able to go to the preview noticed that Cast Members were lined up to say hello as we entered and thanks and goodbye as we left. A Cast Member told us they’re going to be doing that for the opening weeks!

Disneyland Hotel
We checked in on construction over at Disneyland Hotel. We could see a lot of landscaping going on and there have been fences up around the perimeter of the hotel for some time. It’s pretty hard to see much past those fences!
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel has opened as well!
Currently, guests cannot visit the hotel unless they have a reservation.

Disneyland Entrance Area
Near the Disneyland entrance, we noticed that the Lost and Found spot has opened.
And day lockers were available for rent too!
Simba Parking Lot
As a note, the Simba Lot is now back to an hourly rate where guests pay as they exit.

Disney+ posters are now posted on the building that was previously ESPN Zone.Â
And there are new “Magic is Here” banners on many of the streetlights.
