Sweethearts’ Nite has RETURNED! This Disneyland After Dark event kicked off on January 21st and takes place on select nights now through February 13th.

Special dining packages will be available for sweethearts to enjoy special meals at multiple different Disneyland restaurants. Disney recently revealed more information about these dining packages, including what food they’ll include and their prices!
Fantasmic! finally made its triumphant return to Disneyland’s Rivers of America earlier this year!

After an extended closure and refurbishment, Fantasmic! returned with an updated show after a fire caused damage. The new version of the show no longer has the Maleficent dragon, but the fan-favorite Peter Pan scene returned to the Sailing Ship Columbia! If you are looking to see this show in a reserved area, then listen up because a new Fantasmic! dining package will debut next year!
Disney Channel Nite is a real thing that officially exists in Disneyland! Yes, really! This one is for all you Kim Possible, Hannah Montana, Phineas & Ferb, and Camp Rock fans, and let us tell you, the event is a total BLAST!

Disneyland After Dark events are returning in 2024.

These separately ticketed events allow guests to enter the parks AFTER they close and experience FUN nighttime events. Disney recently released details about the events in 2024, including a new Disney Channel Nite event, as well as the return of Star Wars Nite and Pride Nite. Sweethearts’ Nite is also returning, and we now have details about special dining packages that will be available during that event.
Y’all know us — if Disney says the word “new food,” we’ll come running.

So when Disneyland tells us there are new Halloween treats to try, or there are new foods coming for Dia de Los Muertos, or when new items get added to menus, we are going to be FIRST in line to try those out. So we’re heading to two Disneyland restaurants to check out a TON of new food and drinks!
It’s always a really good day when Disney announces that new snacks are coming. And guess what?!
Disney snacks are the best!
Today is a really good day, because Disney just shared that some NEW menu items and returning favorites have officially arrived at Disneyland. So, go ahead and make your reservations for the following restaurants, because we have a feeling that this post will make you HUNGRY. Oh, and did we mention that alcoholic beverages are included in these menu changes? Yep! Carnation Café, River Belle Terrace, and Café Orleans now serve alcohol. Before, only two restaurants in Disneyland offer alcohol to Disneyland guests: Oga’s Cantina and Blue Bayou. (And of course, Club 33 members can also currently get alcoholic drinks in Disneyland)
Things are CHANGING in Disneyland!

For quite some time, alcoholic drinks have only been available at a verrrrry limited number of restaurants within Disneyland Park. But Disney has just announced that alcoholic beverages will be added to 3 more locations soon. Not only that, but some NEW menu items will be available at these spots too.
When it comes to Disneyland dining, Cafe Orleans is one of our favorite spots.
Cafe Orleans
Located in the heart of New Orleans Square, this casual table-service eatery boasts architecture and atmosphere inspired by — you guessed it — New Orleans. The menu is filled with Cajun and Creole-inspired dishes, including the Monte Cristo Sandwich, which will forever have a special place in our hearts. Heck, this restaurant in GENERAL has a special place in our hearts! Today, we’re headed back to Cafe Orleans. The best part? We’re taking you with us!
If we had a nickel for every time we ate a candle in a Disney theme park, we’d have at least 2 nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice, right? (Credit to Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb for that iconic quote.)
