Here at DFB, we’re all about those snack hacks!
We were pairing corn dog nuggets with cheese long before it was a menu combo at Casey’s Corner, and we’ve been known to add ice cream to our favorite desserts from time to time. Recently, (with the help of a Cast Member) we made a new drink concoction at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and now it’s on the menu!
Back in February, we were curious to see what would happen if we tried to make a spiked version of our beloved Kakamora Float from Aloha Isle. We headed over to the Barefoot Pool Bar at the Polynesian to see what could be done!
The end result of our experiment was a mix of Parrot Bay coconut rum, pineapple juice, piña colada mix, and blue curaçao. It turned out suuuper Instagrammable and very refreshing! The only thing it was missing was Dole Whip but now that has been remedied.
Today, we stopped by the very same pool bar and we were pleasantly surprised to find a new drink on the menu…The Voyager!
This new item is made with Parrot Bay coconut rum blended with cream of coconut and pineapple juice, layered with pineapple Dole Whip and blue curaçao. Sound familiar? Our drink made it on the menu, and this time, it’s got Dole Whip to make it even better!
It’s just as pretty as it was before (if not prettier) and according to our reporter, it still tastes like a tropical dream. THIS is the drink you sip while you’re sitting by the pool or relaxing on the beach!
