When you think of Dole Whip in Disney World, you probably picture Magic Kingdom. Right?
After all, what’s better than walking around Adventureland with that pineapple soft serve swirl in hand? Well, it actually can be better. You just might not realize it yet. Dole Whip is a park STAPLE — trust us, we get it! But you’ll have to head OUTSIDE of the parks for some more unique creations. If you’re craving Dole Whip but don’t want to settle for an ordinary soft-serve, float, or (gasp!) pineapple flavor, go for one of these options instead.
Pineapple Lanai
You can find Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, near the main Lava Pool. Basically walk out the back of the Great Ceremonial House and you can’t miss it. What’s great about this spot is that the offerings here rotate: we’ve seen lime, lemon, strawberry, vanilla, orange, raspberry, and of course that classic pineapple soft-serve! The flavors here often change daily, so it’s worth a stop to check what’s on the menu each day!
But you’ll also be able to grab limited-time specialty Dole Whips here, like that amazing marshmallow soft-serve that stuck around just long enough for Easter. This treat was super unique while giving us our Dole Whip fix: it was sweet, tasty, and sparkled with edible glitter! It was unlike anything you’ll find in the parks.
If you’re looking for spiked Dole Whip, they’ve got you covered, too! Aside from fun limited-time spiked floats, there’s a Dole Whip with Parrot Bay Coconut Rum on the menu.
And if you head a few steps over to Barefoot Pool Bar, you’ll find a spin-off of the classic Spikey Pineapple from Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace (which remains temporarily closed): the Frosty Pineapple! It’s got pineapple Dole Whip with Captain Morgan Private Stock Rum. Oh, and don’t forget about the Frozen Margarita with Lime Dole Whip here, either!
We also invented our own spiked Dole Whip at Barefoot Pool Bar that’s now a real, official menu item! If you’re looking for Dole Whip outside of the parks, the Polynesian is basically a honey hole. It’s just about everywhere and in LOTS of unique options!
But while Disney’s Polynesian Resort is the OG home of Dole Whip at Disney hotels, there are plenty more places to go outside of the parks!

Bamboo Bar at Splitsville
Pineapple Lanai may offer spiked Dole Whip, but Splitsville in Disney Springs puts its OWN spin on it! At the recently opened Bamboo Bar, you’ll find a frozen Piña Colada with Dole Whip. Yum. This masterpiece is Dole Whip, Coco Lopez, Bacardi Superior, and Rumhaven Coconut blended and topped with a splash of Plantation Double-Aged Dark Rum. And spoiler: it’s tasty!
You can also get the Miami Vice here, which is the Piña Colada (plus that Dole Whip!) mixed with the Rumrunner. That’s rum, blackberry brandy, banana liquor, lime juice, and cranberry! The end result is colorful and creative.
And guys, if all this wasn’t exciting enough, those spiked Dole Whips are refillable. Just buy a refillable squeeze bottle to get any of those refills at a discount!
Your 20oz squeeze bottle (with that first drink included) will cost ya $20, and each refill after is just $13.

Marketplace Snacks
We’re hopping over from Splitsville to another Disney Springs spot that serves up Dole Whip! Marketplace Snacks offers that classic pineapple soft-serve (in fact, it was one of the very first places outside of the parks to sell Dole Whip!), but it also has a few more out-of-the-box options.
Yup, we’re talkin’ Dole Whip Nachos. If you’re a Dole Whip fan, you’re gonna want to give these a try. You’ll get waffle cone chips topped with Dole Whip, mango boba pearls, pineapple tidbits, strawberry sauce, whipped cream, and rainbow sprinkles. And boy is it GOOD.
If you’re not in the mood for something that funky, you can opt for floats or Dole Whip spiked with rum here, too. We’ve also spotted some special flavors just at this spot. Remember how we longed to taste watermelon Dole Whip? Well, they heard our call because it (very briefly) showed up as a specialty offering!
But spoiler: it wasn’t all we dreamed it would be!

The Basket at Wine Bar George
How about Dole Whip with wine? That’s a real thing and we assure you…it’s delightful. You’ll want to head over to the walk-up window at Wine Bar George, The Basket! There, you’ll find the Dole Whip Froscato — that’s pineapple Dole Whip with vodka and moscato! We’re big fans of this tart sip. Plus, you can choose to order it “Mimosa-style” with a floater of Prosecco.
And if you’re not the biggest pineapple fan, Wine Bar George also offers Friezling with lime Dole Whip!

Other Locations
Those were the most unique Dole Whip creations around Disney World — but that doesn’t mean you won’t find Dole Whip anywhere else! Both The Drop Off Pool Bar at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and BoardWalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas at the BoardWalk offer a simple spiked Dole Whip.
Some hotel food courts, like Everything POP Food Court at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, used to serve Dole Whip, too. However, it’s currently unavailable. We’ll keep an eye out for its return!

Next time you’re in Disney World, remember that the parks aren’t the only place to grab some Dole Whip. You’re missing out on some really unique (and tasty) creations if you forget about all the unique places this famous snack can be found!

Victor says
I’m so confused about being able to go to other resorts. I’ve seen posts that only people staying at that resort or if they have dining reservations there can go to that resort. But at the same time I’ve seen videos of people resort hopping and going to pineapple lanai or other resort locations with no problem.
DFB Sarah says
Victor, Disney transportation isn’t monitoring folks coming and going from Resorts, so those without Resort or Dining Reservations are still able to visit other Resorts. Guests aren’t able to drive through the gates themselves without a verifiable reason to be there (ADR, Resort stay, active Mobile Order).
