Shanghai Disney Resort opened in June of 2016!

Now, Disney Ambassadors are celebrating the park’s 5th birthday with a magical surprise!

“Magical Surprise” is the name of Shanghai Disney Resort’s 5th Birthday theme song. There’s even an accompanying dance routine!

You can also learn the dance routine from Chinese pop singer Liu Yuning, who is the vocal artist of “Magical Surprise.”

According to Disney, the new song was specially created for the resort’s milestone birthday by the collaborative effort of Yaron Spiwak, Senior Music Producer & Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering; Grammy-nominated producer Chris Sernel; songwriter and “The Voice” contestant Jeff Lewis; and pop singer Liu Yuning.

Guests should hear the new tune during Shanghai Disney’s birthday festivities, which have only just begun! We can’t wait to see what other surprises Shanghai Disney has in store!
