Fireworks have remained suspended since the parks reopened last year.

And while EPCOT has a new nighttime show in the works, Harmonious, there has been no indication on when it could debut. But last night, there was an exciting indication that preparations may be underway.

According from her, this testing took place around midnight, and was visible by the Speedway near Disney’s BoardWalk Resort. There weren’t too many fireworks — and they were pretty spaced out — but they did still light up the sky!

Disney should be able to communicate a return of fireworks and have some sort of timetable of further restoration of attractions. Even if they aren’t time based but event or staffing levels based. Disney PR asleep at the keyboard?
Fire works testing hopefully it starts sooner than later . It would be great if they could distance to be able to have the fire works . We might have to wait is it going to be Oct. 50 Anniversary.
Is it possible that we will see fireworks in August when we’re back ? Sure hope so
