Disney World is undergoing quite a few changes!
One of those is the reimagining of the Jungle Cruise — and we’ve been keeping a close eye on this project! The work is expected to wrap up this summer, but the ride is OPEN in the meantime. That means we’re constantly hoppin’ aboard to see what’s new.
We’ve already told ya that the famous Trader Sam scene has been removed from the ride — and that Disney announced a replacement. And now, we’ve got a first look at what this new scene looks like in person!
That new scene is Trader Sam’s gift shop (which he repurposed from the river’s Lost and Found station, of course!). As of now, we can only see the building itself, as the interior remains covered.
Here’s what it’ll look like when it’s complete!
Yesterday, Disney shared a peek at the gift shop being installed in Disneyland. Looks like progress is takin’ place on both coasts! We’ll keep an eye on the changes and be sure to keep ya posted, so stay tuned to DFB.
