It seems like there’s always something new goin’ on at EPCOT!
The Flower and Garden Festival is still in full swing, and we’ve been closely following the progress on projects like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Space 220. And now, we’ve got an interesting update about one of the park’s SHOWS!
Tucked away in the Canada Pavilion is a Circle-Vision 360 show called Canada Far and Wide. It gives guests a quick peek into the natural wonders of the country! But starting June 27th, it will be closing for an unspecified period of time.
Now, Canada Far and Wide isn’t showing up on the official refurbishment calendar, but we’re seeing no hours listed from June 27th through August 3rd. Currently, Disney isn’t showing ANY hours beyond August 3rd, so the closure could extend well past then.
It’s important to note that EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival kicks off on July 15th. The Canada Far and Wide theater has previously been used as a festival space, so that likely explains the closure. For example, in 2019, the Appleseed Orchard food booth was located here — although it moved to the World Showplace Pavilion in 2020.
UPDATE! Disney has confirmed that the Appleseed Orchard booth will be located inside the Canada Theatre for the 2021 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival. This means it’s possible that Canada Far and Wide will reopen around the time the festival ends.
We’ll continue to keep a close eye on the situation and keep you posted. But if you’re visiting EPCOT over the summer (and maybe beyond!), you won’t be able to catch this quick show.

more beer and less attractions, this is the way the park is going turning it into another disney springs. ridley has already destroyed the rest of the park , now management wants to start removing attractions too for alcohol and food sales. its only a matter of time before this becomes permanent. its really sad.
