The long hazy days of summer are officially here, and we’re doing what we do — spending them all at Disney World!
And while we’re doing that, we’re checking out all the summer drinks and snacks including a boozy bacon bourbon, rainbow cake, and a Dole Whip cocktail flight. But we’re also tracking every menu change at Disney World restaurants, and we’ve got a few for you this week, including the return of some of our favorite snacks!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
We officially have a reopening date for Tusker House Restaurant: June 20th! And we even know what the new menu and prices are! Breakfast, it will be served family-style and will cost $42 per adult and $27 per child.
Guests will have choices that include pastries basket with safari bread, multigrain croissants, and cornbread, all served with whipped butter, Nutella, and strawberry preserves. There will also be fresh fruit with honey yogurt sauce.
There’s also a breakfast platter which includes potatoes, scrambled eggs, Mickey and Simba-Shaped waffles, bacon, sausage, and Durban chicken-egg curry with jasmine rice.
Lunch and dinner will also be a family-style meal priced at $55 per adult and $42 per child.
Starters include house-made breads (served with hummus, and coriander and mango chutney), as well as African-inspired salads (featuring Kachumbari and Arcadian green salad with citrus vinaigrette dressing).
Entrees include Moroccan spiced beef, spit-roasted herb chicken, Cape Malay green curry shrimp, and Berber marinated pork. There will also be a variety of sides available.
Desserts will feature animal-inspired mini desserts. Drinks including an assortment of mocktails and cocktails, along with beers, hard seltzers, ciders, etc.
Buffalo Chicken Spring Rolls are officially back on the menu at the Spring Roll Cart in Adventureland! They’re served with a side of Buttermilk Ranch dressing for dipping.
Two of these babies are $9.50. You’ll get spring rolls loaded with chicken with a great buffalo flavor.
Meanwhile, the Prix Fixe cost was upped $2 and a ton of wines were hiked up in cost, too. Just a heads up if your bill is a bit higher than normal next time!
One of our favorite sorbet flavors has returned to Vivoli il Gelato — Pineapple! And it’s available now — so if you’ve got a craving, head on over to Disney Springs!
