Since Disney World reopened last summer, pre-shows were removed from rides as a safety precaution.
Since the reopening, many pre-shows have been unavailable. But as restrictions have been changing around Disney, we’ve started to see the return of some pre-shows! Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith had the band back in the recording studio, Haunted Mansion’s room is stretching again, and Dinosaur saw the return of Dr. Seeker. And now, we found another awesome pre-show reopen in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and so is a missing animatronic!
The pre-show for Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run is BACK!
We get to hang out with Hondo Ohnaka again, one of the absolute best animatronics in all of Disney World.
Before, Hondo was just pushing buttons and saying hi to guests as they walked through the queue. But now, he’s back to give his whole speech about the ride and what he needs you to smuggle for him!
We were a little worried about Hondo, as he was completely missing from the ride last week, but we’re glad to see him back in action!
The return of the pre-show also means we got to see R5-P8 operating again as well as Chewbacca, our favorite Wookiee pal!
We really enjoyed getting to see the Hondo and his friends again! We’ll keep you updated on any other pre-shows we see return around the parks, so stay tuned to DFB!
