Flying on the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run is a thrilling experience for many Star Wars fans!
And now you can have a similar experience at home thanks to a new feature on the Portal from Facebook!
Ever wanted to pilot the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy? Then, you’ll definitely want to check out Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where you’ll get the chance to fly the Falcon yourself!
But, today it seems like the Falcon experienced some complications and had to evacuate its guests.
Now, what do people look forward to the most when they come to Disney? (Well, besides the food.) The rides, of course! What’s Disney World without Space Mountain, Tower of Terror, and Pirates of the Caribbean? It’s a huge, empty land filled only with Mickey Pretzels and churros. Actually, that doesn’t sound too bad. 😉 Nevertheless, we checked out a few of the most popular attractions at all four parks and are reporting back on ALL the updates. [Read more…]
Alright, we have OFFICIALLY been to all four Disney World parks BUT…one of these things is not like the others. While other Disney World parks seem to have smooth sailing with their reopenings, Hollywood Studios is struggling with crowds, pinch points, wait times, and ride breakdowns.
Disney Park Pass reservations are slim when it comes to getting into Disney’s Hollywood Studios — which means it, and its headliner attractions like Rise of the Resistance, the brand new Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and Slinky Dog Dash, have been a serious draw for guests since the park reopened on Wednesday. It’s absolutely Disney World’s hottest ticket right now, and that means — despite Disney lowering capacity in the parks — it’s BUSY.
We compared Disney World’s glitziest park’s opening day with all three of the other parks and crowds were definitely heavier. We even went back the next day to see if crowds and pinch points lightened up. Spoiler alert: They didn’t.
With a smaller footprint, fewer open rides, and Disney World’s most popular attraction by far, Hollywood Studios has struggled to reach the same equilibrium the other parks achieved relatively quickly.
We’re back at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge during the grand reopening of Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
We’ve been checking out what’s new and different since Disney World reopened. We kicked back with a Carbon Freeze at Oga’s Cantina and battled the First Order on Rise of the Resistance. Now, we’re ready to pilot the fastest hunk o’ junk in the galaxy and tell you all about it. [Read more…]
Even the fanciest of cheese boards could use a sophisticated touch.
Sure, you could add extra fruits, spreads, and honey. OR, you could toss all of those aside and just marvel at the cheese board itself — especially if it’s Disney themed! So buckle up, because we’re going to a galaxy far far away!
Can you believe that Disney’s Hollywood Studios just turned 31 years old?!
While we remember some of the good ole’ days with the Backlot Tour and celebrate the new gems with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Hollywood Studios has SO many details that you might not know about.
You know we are full of expert Disney tips, but even we make some odd choices when it comes to our Disney trips sometimes.
This may not be what people would classically recommend, but trust us — we have our reasons! Would YOU make some of these crazy choices on your next Disney World trip? Or have we just lost our marbles? 😉
It’s been a few weeks since we last set foot in Disney World, and BOY do we miss the parks!!
Since the Disney Parks are set to remain closed “until further notice,” we’re going to have to wait a bit longer until we can hop on our favorite attractions again. Buuut, we’ve got a few ideas how Disney can make those memories by adding these PhotoPass photos to NEW rides!
It seems like with each passing day our hearts are longing to reach out to some of our favorite Disney attractions that we miss the most! How we yearn to FEEL the sweet CARESS of the Peoplemover’s blue vinyl upholstery against our skin AGAIN!
And somehow the fine line that usually divides our more logical thinking and what we would normally recognize as an irrational use of our time and energy right now has become BLURRED!
In fact, our minds have become so muddled with passionate feelings to see how our favorite attractions are holding up throughout all of this that we’ve started to believe maybe, just MAYBE, the rides are MISSING US, TOO?!?
