SO much is changing at Disney World, especially recently, and we’re doing our best to help you stay caught up.

Golden Oak Outpost
We’ve been enjoying the return of entertainment, fireworks, and several restaurant reopenings, including Dino Diner, which reopened today! But another Disney World snack spot has also reopened today — and this one was a surprise!
We’re talking about Golden Oak Outpost, a space previously used as a relaxation station after Disney World’s reopening. But relaxation stations are now a thing of the past, and as of today, Golden Oak Outpost has reopened as a snack spot!
Atmosphere
Although we are a little surprised about Golden Oak’s reopening today, we recently spotted some menu updates for the location. But we were pleasantly shocked this morning to see guests lined up to eat here! And so we got in line, too!

Golden Oak Outpost is open!
Speaking of the menu, it has changed since pre-closure. The Chicken Breast Nuggets have been replaced with Chicken Strips. The Loaded Onion Rings, Loaded Waffle Fries, and Chili Cheese Onion Rings have disappeared. And the Sweet Tea Slushy now costs $5.99, instead of $5.49.

New Menu
Condiments are grab-and-go and not self-serve like some other Disney World restaurants. There’s Ketchup, Mustard, and Ranch Dressing…

…along with Barbecue Sauce and Honey Mustard Sauce.

Sauces
There is plenty of seating nearby, with tables and stools.

Seating
The seating hasn’t changed since this location was a relaxation station, although the tables seem to be a little closer to each other.
Eats
So what about the food? Well, we decided to dig in.

We also had the Chili Cheese Fries for $6.49.

For our beverage, we chose the frosty Lemonade and Sweet Tea Slushy for $5.99.

Be sure to stay tuned because we’ll be sharing a full review of our meal here soon! And we’re keeping an eye out for even more reopenings at Disney World!
