Good morning, or “bright suns” as they say in Batuu! Disney just revealed some MAJOR details about the new Star Wars hotel, opening in Walt Disney World in the Spring of 2022!

We recently got a sneak peek at some of the unique foods that will be available and had some important questions (finally) answered, but now we’ve got a look at what will be included in your stay on the Galactic Starcruiser!
As we previously learned, your voyage on the Galactic Starcruiser will last for 2 nights. Guests can choose between sleeping in a cabin or a suite during their trip across the galaxy.

The Star Wars hotel has been defined as a “cruise-like experience,” meaning that things like food, entertainment, and other on-flight activities are all included in the price. Not only that, but your decisions onboard the ship will determine your experience both on the ship and in Batuu!

Now, according to Disney, here is a list of things that will be included in the price of a stay at the Star Wars hotel: (drumroll, please)
- Ongoing, immersive, and interactive entertainment, which you can choose to participate in
- Food & drinks (excluding alcoholic and specialty beverages) and a quick-service meal at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo or other select locations at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for your planetary excursion to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
- Valet parking
- Exclusive Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser databand (AKA a MagicBand)

For that price, we can take a 7 day cruise (NCL) with shore excursions, alcoholic beverages and fancy dining (Captain’s Table upcharge).
Given all the competition for space travel, it may be cheaper to take a quick flight to space and then hop on a 7 day cruise versus the Star Wars Hotel pricing.

I’m sorry, but having to pay for specialty and alcoholic beverages at this price point is kinda insulting. If you’re gonna take that much of my money you can at least be as hospitable as Vegas.
If galaxy edge is included does that mean if you book you automatically get to go on ROR? Will it make it even harder to get in for non hotel guests?
Lori, one ride on Rise of the Resistance and on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run are included. Not sure on the capacity concerns. One might guess the abbreviated timeframe that Starcruiser guests are in the Park could possibly impact the overall numbers, but we’ll have to report on that when it’s time.
