One of the most exciting projects coming to Disney World has gotta be the upcoming Star Wars hotel — Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.

The hotel will be more of an experience than a typical Disney resort and it will be unlike any other Disney destination in the entire world. Disney is actually calling the experience “storyliving” rather than storytelling! We’ve been closely keeping an eye on its construction, and looking for any updates about the incredibly immersive resort. Now, we finally have a better idea on when Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will open!
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will officially open in the Spring of 2022!

Guests will board the Halcyon (the “ship”) for a two-night journey in space! There will be an itinerary, which means you will arrive and depart with the other guests like on a cruise. When arriving at the ship, you will become a citizen of the galaxy and are invited to dress like one.

Sneak peeks of the passenger cabins include bunk beds and special windows that will feature a view of space. That’s right, you won’t be able to look outside and see Florida, you will only see a galaxy far, far away!
