Many Disney World guests have been missing Extra Magic Hours, but while Extra Magic Hours won’t be returning, a new program, known as Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours will take its place.
Early Theme Park Entry will allow all Disney World resort guests entry into the parks 30 minutes before official opening time on select dates, while Extended Evening Hours lets guests who are staying at deluxe resorts and deluxe villas stay an hour or two later in the theme parks after their official closing time, also on select dates.
Now, Disney has added one more day to Extended Evening Hours in November. Guests staying at deluxe resorts will now get to hang out later at EPCOT on November 22nd and at Magic Kingdom on November 24th.
UPDATE: Disney has since added more days to the Extended Evening Hours schedule, including some days in December. Check out the full schedule below.
Remember that you will still need a valid ticket or Annual Pass, as well as a park reservation for the date of the Extended Evening Hours you wish to attend. However, if you have added the park hopping option to your ticket, you can attend extended evening hours as long as you have first checked into the park you reserved for that day.
Note that not all attractions, shops, and dining are open during the extended evening hours, so keep that in mind when making your plans for each day of your trip.
We’ll continue to keep an eye on the Disney World calendar for you, so if any additional Extended Evening Hours get added, we’ll let you know!
