Many Disney World guests have been missing Extra Magic Hours, but while Extra Magic Hours won’t be returning, new programs, known as Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours have taken its place.

We’d live here if we could!
Early Theme Park Entry allows all Disney World resort guests entry into the parks 30 minutes before the official opening time every day, while Extended Evening Hours lets guests who are staying at deluxe resorts and deluxe villas stay an hour or two later in the theme parks after their official closing time on select dates.
On what dates can deluxe resort and deluxe villas guests spend extra time in the parks? Here is a full look at the current Extended Evening Hours schedule through part of 2023.Â
Remember that you will still need a valid ticket or Annual Pass, as well as a Park Pass reservation for the date of the Extended Evening Hours you wish to attend. However, if you have added the park hopping option to your ticket, you can attend extended evening hours as long as you have first entered into the park you reserved for that day.
Note that not all attractions, shops, and dining are open during Extended Evening Hours, so keep that in mind when making your plans for each day of your trip. Check out our Extended Evening Hours page to learn which rides will be open and which hotels qualify for this perk.

We’ll continue to keep an eye on the Disney World calendar for you, so if any additional Extended Evening Hours get added, we’ll let you know!

So unfair that extra night hours aren’t available for all guests at all Disney resorts. Obviously, the “powers that be” only care about keeping deluxe guests and DVCs happy and choose to ignore everyone else. Just remember AP holders stay at all resorts, and not only at deluxe; and AP holders have been around much longer than DVC owners.

Hi Todd, the parking lot opens about two hours before official park opening for that day.
