We’re just a few days away from two new restaurant openings at EPCOT!
Space 220 opens up on September 20th and La Crêperie de Paris joins the France Pavilion on October 1st. We already got a look at the new crêperie during previews for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, but we’re incredibly excited to eat in “space” next week. Today, we got a fresh look inside the restaurant as some of the first guests got the chance to dine!
This afternoon, David Martin from Fox 35 (@Fox35David) shared a look at what it’s like to eat inside Space 220 on Twitter. The photos included a glimpse INSIDE the restaurant, as well as some of the food options served there.
Dining 220 miles above #Epcot really is a stellar experience. The new “SPACE 220” fine dining restaurant next to the Mission Space attraction is stunning. The food/drinks are outstanding. It opens Monday. I can’t wait to get this on @GoodDayOrlando to show you. Coming soon!! pic.twitter.com/HGnAqThydP

The desserts are over-the-top and one of the drinks is even served with Pop Rocks on the side! But perhaps the most impressive thing to note is the space windows — they’re incredibly realistic. It’s going to be a truly unique experience to have a meal here!
We can’t wait to check Space 220 out for ourselves in a few days, so stay tuned to DFB!

NEW changes are coming to the BoardWalk Inn Resort at Disney World!
We have been so excited with extended wait for 220 to open, but now we have seen the menu I don’t think we will bother. They had such a chance to make it themed with a lot more variety. It is nothing special and boring. We have a couple of one standard allergies so don’t really like pre fixe menus anyway. That’s $200 plus we won’t be spending there.

I on the other hand will be dining here and won’t mind spending that money! It looks fantastic!
I would like to know if daughter is a picky eater if I could still order off the kids menu even if she is older the 9. I would be willing to pay adult price just that way our whole group can experience space 220.
Shontel, the Cast Members at Space 220 told our reporters that the menu is firm, but you could request to speak to a chef about possible accommodations to an adult option for your daughter. Another option you could consider is dining in the lounge at Space 220. Diners can select from the prix fixe menu OR the lounge menu, so you could order a prix fixe adult meal, while your daughter could order from the lounge menu if there’s an item that appeals more to her on that menu. The lounge is first come, first served, and my understanding is there’s both bar and table seating in the lounge.
