50th Anniversary decorations are all over the place in Disney World right now.
We’ve seen lots of golden character statues, banners in all of the parks, signs at the entrance to Disney World, and even new Cinderella Coach pumpkins taking over Main Street, U.S.A. It’s practically impossible to ignore the big celebrations that are starting October 1st. But Disney’s newest 50th Anniversary decorations aren’t in the parks at all! In fact, they’re not even on Disney World property.
Earlier this summer, we shared a first look at the decorations coming to the Orlando International Airport in celebration of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary.
And now some of those decorations have arrived! A BIG thanks to Dan @wanderdisney who spotted the decorations and sent us some fantastic photos!
The terminal train stations at the Orlando airport have been transformed with a bit of 50th Anniversary magic.
On the clear walls surrounding that train, you can see images of gold Disney characters, 50th Anniversary banners, and an EARidescent Cinderella Castle with the “50” logo.
Around the characters are smaller silhouettes of more Disney characters and stars.
So, whether you’re looking for Figment…
…Minnie Mouse…
…or the main mouse himself, Mickey(!), be sure to look for these decorations during your next trip to Orlando International Airport.
It’s a great way to start celebrating the 50th Anniversary before you even get to the Disney World parks!
