Disney Vacation Club members and Disney World Annual Passholders are eligible to book Star Wars hotel reservations during an early pre-sale window beginning on October 7th, and Disney Visa Cardmembers “should be on the lookout in the coming weeks for a special booking opportunity just for you,” according to Disney.
We expect that these reservations will fill up SUPER quickly, so be sure to mark this date in your calendars, set your alarms, and get ready for some quick typing and clicking. Or, you can reach out to your travel professional to help you with all of your booking needs. We personally recommend our friends over at Small World Vacations — they can help make your Disney vacation booking experience stress-free, plus their services will not cost you anything! All of their contact information is below so you can reach out to them for a no obligation price quote today.

Keep in mind that the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser experience will be unlike anything else at Disney World. Unlike a traditional hotel, this isn’t a spot where you can just book as many nights as you’d like and mainly just go back to the room to sleep. Instead, this will be much more like a cruise experience. All reservations must be for the required 2-night stay, and you should plan to stay aboard the “ship” for the entire duration of your stay — except for a guided trip out to Batuu.

The whole experience will truly let you live out your own unique Star Wars adventure. From lightsaber training to interactions with your favorite Star Wars characters, you’ll feel like you’ve left earth and really traveled into space. You won’t even be able to actually look out of any windows to the outside world while on board. Instead, all rooms will “look out” into the depths of space.

Again, we expect reservations will get booked very quickly, so be sure to make plans in advance if this is a must-do experience for you, and mark your calendar for October 28th. Until we meet again, may the Force be with you.
