Disney World’s 50th anniversary will last for 18 months, which leaves time for many people to plan trips during the celebration.

Happy 50th Everyone!

If you want to experience all the new treats, merchandise, and entertainment, there’s a FREE way you can visit Disney World, and here’s how!

In addition to the contest hosted by Disney World and McDonald’s, Disney World is hosting a 50th Celebration Sweepstakes with a chance for one lucky winner to get a free Disney World vacation! This contest began on September 30th and will run through October 24th, and you can enter once per day.

The Grand Prize is a 5-day/4-night Disney World vacation for the winner and up to 3 additional guests.

In addition to a 4-night stay at a Disney World Resort, the grand prize includes up to four 5-day Disney World Park Hopper tickets, round trip airfare, unlimited PhotoPass photos, a $500 Disney gift card, a welcome basket, and a VIP Resort Tour Guide for one day. Whew, that’s a lot!

There will also be two first prize winners who receive shopDisney merchandise credits of $500 each!

  1. The McDonald’s sweepstakes ended on October 1st. Prize drawing will be on or around October 14th.

  2. I don’t know if anyone else has this problem, but when I hit enter the screen just freezes. I’ve tried different browsers and different devices and it’s the same almost every time. I’ve gotten thru once or twice, just enough to know it’s not something I’m doing. If anybody has a suggestion let me know.

    Go to shopdisney.com and under their 50th anniversary merch page you’ll see them advertising it. RIGHT CLICK THE LINK AND OPEN IT IN AN INGONITO BROWSER WINDOW this is the only way ive found that works, and it works every time.

  21. I was finally able to enter using a different browser. Had been using Chrome. But when I go to Firefox – it works perfect. Just another tip.
