Disney World recently launched its Genie planning program through the My Disney Experience app.
Along with Genie came Genie+, which is the paid system that has replaced FastPass+ in the parks. It’s $15 per day, per person and allows you to make reservations for the Lightning Lanes (old FastPass lanes) of 46 attractions across the parks. But, when you buy Genie+, you also get some other perks! One of those perks is exclusive PhotoPass Lenses you can use on your phone. We already saw a lot of the lenses when Genie+ launched, but now there are even more for you to check out!
There are NEW PhotoPass Lenses on Genie+! First up, we have this Elsa Frozen Lens! If you have the camera facing you, you can use your ice powers freeze over the screen…
…or if you have you camera facing the other direction, you can make some snowy magic happen!
There is also a Timon Lens that puts him on top of your safari hat.
And, an Expedition Everest Lens that bundles you up from the cold, but be careful, because there might be something behind you!
You can also chow down on some of the most iconic Disney snacks, like a Mickey Premium Bar! The lens shows you with the bar…
…and then you can take bites out of it until it’s gone! But, you will get some chocolate on your face.
Hungry for more? Try and throw some popcorn into your friend’s mouth!
There are also some super cool sunglasses that actually reflect magical icons, like Cinderella Castle!
Some of the new lenses can be used all across Walt Disney World, but others, like the Timon and Expedition Everest Lenses, are only available in specific areas of the parks.
These PhotoPass Lenses are one of the perks of buying Genie+ while you’re in the parks, so take advantage of them! Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney World news and updates.
