Disney loves taking advantage of new technology to change how guests experience the parks.
The My Disney Experience app allows you to do things like look at wait times, maps, menus, and more. And now, with Disney Genie on the app, it can even plan your day for you! Another feature of the app is Disney MagicMobile. This system acts as your ticket and allows you to enter the theme parks, lets you connect Disney PhotoPass images to your account, and gets you into the Lightning Lanes of rides (if you’re using Genie+). And now, MagicMobile has added a new feature!
You can now pay for food and merchandise using MagicMobile!
Using MagicMobile, you can charge food and merchandise to the payment card on file at your Disney hotel room during your stay. Find out more on how to use MagicMobile here.
You can use MagicMobile or a MagicBand for these features, or you can use them interchangeably!
So, now you can do even MORE at Disney using your phone, which can definitely be more convenient for some people. Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news and updates!

Hi, do you know
When Minnie vans will be back ?
When the railroad will be back ?
Can I book a chat for DAS if I’m from U.K. ?
Where can I book a Disney Cinderella cake for my daughters birthday. ?
Can DAS be used to go on lightning lane rides ?
If I have 2 children with DAS, do I need 2 mobile phones ?
Thank you so much

Since everyone in the park will be using their phone all day with Disney Plus, where do we charge our batteries when everyone’s phone goes dead?

How did I ever live without this? What’s the emoji for “Who cares”? Last time we ordered food BEFORE Magic Mobile was a thing, we put the ol’ card in and paid for the meal, and could even save the card if we trusted Disney not to be a hack victim. Magic mobile is different exactly how?
Since you aren’t ordering Disney fast food without mobile-ordering, why does the rebranding to magic mobile deserve mention?

Hi, Ron. There are some places to plug in. The sitting area at the Tangled restrooms comes to mind. There are also FuelRod chargers available in vending machines throughout the World. You may also find spots in Quick Service restaurants where you can find a plus for your charger cord. Personally, I’ll bring a portable charger with me next time.

Nicola, Disney hasn’t released when/if Minnie Vans will return or when the Walt Disney World Railroad will resume operations. I would think you can connect with Disney via video chat for DAS from the U.K.. When you do that, ask them about the two phones. I would not think you’d need to bring two, but they would hopefully have more info on that. To order a cake, check out this page.

Does someone know what the different colors mean when you scan your magic band for park entry? I’ve seen double green, double blue, pink and green, double pink… there may be more that I don’t know about. Does anyone know what they mean or where to find a key for the colors?

We are at Disney Resort in California. The Disney and Touring apps take a lot of juice but Fuel Rod saved the day. I was a total sceptic prior to this but they are small, lightweight and come with connectors in the tube. You can recharge them at night or exchange them for free. $30 from a vending machine on a corner.
