Disney World has a lot of changes going on nowadays!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom might not be slated for any new attractions like Magic Kingdom or EPCOT, but one show in the park is set to get a significant reimagining! Earlier this year, Disney announced the Finding Nemo Musical would be reimagined, and now we have more details!
Today at Destination D23, Disney revealed further details about the changes coming to the Finding Nemo Musical. Previously, Disney revealed that the reimagined show will feature NEW story material, but will keep some fan-favorite songs like “In The Big Blue World” and “Go with the Flow.”

The new musical will be called Finding Nemo: The Big Blue and Beyond and will take place during the events of the movie Finding Dory, which means it will be set in the Marine Life Institute. So it’s basically a sequel to the original show — you’ll be able to catch up with characters since then.

The reimagined show debuts at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in 2022 and we can’t WAIT to see it! As always, stay tuned to DFB for more of the BIG news from Disney World!
