Planning a visit to Disney World’s Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser (a.k.a. the Star Wars hotel)?

This new out-of-this-world experience is set to open in March and some dates have already started to fill up. The 2-night adventure is said to be unlike anything else, giving fans the chance to train with lightsabers, immerse themselves in the Star Wars world, and live out their own intergalactic story. But now we’ve seen something NEW related to the hotel.
Though we call it a “hotel” Galactic Starcruiser is more of an inclusive, immersive, cruise-type experience. It’s one that you probably won’t want to leave unless you have to (you’re paying all of that money to be there after all!).

But there might be a time when guests might need to be transported to or from the Starcruiser to other locations on property. That’s where this latest update comes in. Earlier today when we were in Disney Springs we saw that the Bus Directory has been updated to list the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser Resort as stop 18.

This at least indicates that buses will take guests from Disney Springs to the Starcruiser. We expect this means there could also be buses transporting guests from the Starcruiser to Disney Springs, but Disney has not really shared any details about that.
UPDATE: We returned to Disney Springs on January 27th and looked at a variety of bus signs. During our visit on this day we did NOT see any signs indicating a bus stop for the Galactic Starcruiser. We’ll continue to look for more updates!

Thus far we know that a special, themed shuttle will transport guests to and from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios and the Star Wars hotel during the dedicated Hollywood Studios excursion that is part of the Starcruiser experience. With the opening of the hotel just a few months away, we expect more updates about the entire hotel experience will be revealed soon.

I would only consider staying at the Star Wars Hotel if it includes Lighting Lane access to the Star Wars rides in Hollywood Studios.
Hi Tiffany, Good news! The reservation aboard The Halcyon (the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser) does include rides at reserved times on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and The Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run! It also includes all meals aboard the ‘ship’ and lunch at Docking Bay 7 during the ‘excursion’ to Batuu. It also includes all you can drink blue and green milk while onboard, which my kids swear they will be drinking until they can’t drink anymore!
We booked on the Halcyon for late May. We were told that we can not board the starcruiser until 1pm. If we arrive prior to that time, we will be shuttled to Disney springs to have lunch or kill time until boarding…hence the bus stop.
