Avengers Campus at Disneyland Paris WINS the Transportation Game

There are BIG things happening at Disneyland Paris! The park is currently celebrating its 30th Anniversary, we’ve gotten more details about a Frozen-themed land, and we know that Avengers Campus will be opening this summer.

Today, we got some more news and details about what we can expect from the new Avengers Campus coming to Disneyland Paris!

Disney shared details about a new vehicle that will be used to transport characters around Avengers Campus when it opens in Disneyland Paris this summer. It’s called the Avengers Deployment Vehicle (ADV for short) and will “deploy Super Heroes to various key locations throughout Avengers Campus, for them to meet new recruits and jump swiftly into action.” The car looks super futuristic with metal plating and lots of lights — we can definitely picture this fancy car zooming through the streets of Wakanda!

Disney shared that Stark Industries introduced this “high-tech revolution” for “the next generation of Super Heroes.” They also shared a few interesting facts about the vehicle! It was designed with “a futurist aesthetic and equipped with cutting-edge technology,” and the look is modeled after Tony Stark’s sleek style. The oversized wheels and angular-shaped body armor are designed to symbolize strength and power.

In addition, “the ADV is powered by Wakandan Vibranium — an ultra-resilient energy source that flows through all elements of the vehicle, protecting the driver and cargo alike.” And if you look carefully at the side doors, you’ll see that they allow for quick access to the vehicle and a look inside! The back is open, which allows heroes to greet guests.

By comparison, the characters at Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure are usually transported in a more rugged-looking Avengers truck.

Not much else has been shared recently about what we will be able to experience once Avengers Campus opens in Disneyland Paris this summer, but the Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure (which opened last year) has rides like Web Slingers and restaurants like Pym Test Kitchen, as well as lots of opportunities to interact with characters. We’re expecting to see similar features at the Disneyland Paris version!
