Swinging into Disneyland Resort’s Disney California Adventure, WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure is located in the new Avengers Campus!

WEB SLINGERS is housed in the Worldwide Engineering Brigade (WEB, for short).

This is where “Tony Stark has assembled bright innovators like Peter Parker to invent new technologies and equip everyday people to become Super Heroes.”

On the attraction, guests are invited by inspiring inventors like Peter Parker to go for a test drive of the “Web-Slinger” vehicle.

Tom Holland reprised the role for the ride!

But first, guests will wind through a ride queue that is positively packed with Easter eggs…

During the preshow, guests will “attend” an Open House for one of WEB’s labs and see a presentation by Peter Parker about some of the new inventions created by him and the rest of the WEB Tech team, including Spider-Bots.

When “Peter’s demonstration goes awry, the Spider-Bots are stuck in a replication loop, creating even more Spider-Bots!”

Spider-Man needs YOU to put your superhero skills to the test by slinging virtual webs to catch the Spider-Bots that have escaped! (Don’t worry — you’ll get a how-to first!)

As the “WEB Slinger vehicles progress, you will virtually pass through several other Campus addresses, including Pym Test Kitchen, Avengers Headquarters and the Collector’s Fortress, also home to Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! As the mission continues, Spider-Bots will become harder and harder to beat as they continue to multiply.”

The ride features state-of-the-art animatronics, 3D glasses, and virtual ride systems to allow guests to feel like they are a part of the Spider-Verse! The ride also uses gesture recognition technology, so all you and your Avengers Team (aka your friends and family) will do is wave your hands and work together to rack up your group score throughout the ride.

Each Spider-Bot is worth a different point value, with gold being the highest, then green, blue, and red bots being the lowest.

After you’ve saved the campus, you’ll get a congrats from Spider-Man — and now you’re a superhero, too!

Virtual Queue for Attraction Access

To experience this ride, guests were originally required to join a Virtual Queue, and Standby lines were not available. However, in October 2021, Disney announced that guests “may be required” to join a Virtual Queue, and a traditional Standby line will be available when the Virtual Queue is not in use.

Guests are advised to check the Disneyland app periodically on the day of their visit to find out is the Virtual Queue is in use.

When in use, the virtual queue functions like the one for Rise of the Resistance: guests can join at 7AM and 12PM daily using the Disneyland app, and will be able to enter the queue once per day.

If you have a Park Pass reservation for Disney California Adventure, you’ll be able to join your boarding group at 7AM (from outside of the park) or 12PM. Guests who have a Park Pass reservation for Disneyland Park (with a Park Hopper ticket) may join the virtual queue at 12PM, as long as they’ve already entered Disneyland Park that day. Remember, you can Park Hop starting at 1PM each day.
