It’s the newest land in Disney California Adventure and it’s the perfect spot for any Marvel fan! You get to step into the world of the Avengers and meet new characters, ride with the Guardians of the Galaxy, and eat food the size of your face! But if you were hoping to go on the Spider-Man attraction, you might be out of luck.

Previously, the Disney California Adventure park calendar for January 2023 showed that WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure would be closed for refurbishment starting on January 9th, 2023. It was then listed to reopen on January 13th.

UPDATE: Things have since changed.

The Disneyland Resort calendar no longer lists WEB SLINGERS as being “closed for refurbishment” during those January dates. The website for the ride also lists operating hours during those dates. So, it appears WEB SLINGERS will not be closing for refurbishment in January of 2023.

Other rides, however, will be closing for refurbishment in January in Disneyland. You can click here for full details.

WEB SLINGERS isn’t just an ordinary ride — you fight Spider Bots that have escaped alongside Spider-Man himself! You’ll throw webs just like Spidey and at the end you’ll get a score to see how you did. It’s a fun and interactive ride!
