Earlier today, registration opened for both Annual Passholder and Disney Vacation Club member previews of this new ride. We even shared an important Park Pass update when it comes to Annual Passholders. But now there’s been an important development in the story!
If you didn’t snatch a spot early this morning for those Annual Passholder and Disney Vacation Club previews, you’re out of luck. Based on Disney’s websites, previews for DVC Members…

…and Annual Passholders are totally FULL.

That’s right folks, in just a little over an hour, both previews have SOLD OUT! Seems a lot of people are excited to check out the new Guardians ride, and we can’t blame them!

Keep in mind that Disney Cast Members have also been offered a preview of the ride. D23 Gold Members were also able to sign up for a special preview event, but that has since sold out.

If you weren’t able to get into one of the preview events, don’t worry! Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be opening to the general public on May 27th. Disney hasn’t yet revealed if the ride will utilize a virtual queue or any other special queue arrangement, so that’s something to keep in mind.

If you are planning to be in EPCOT on the 27th, get those Park Passes ASAP! Park Passes for the 27th are still available for Theme Park Tickets guests…

…and those staying at select resort hotels, but that could change soon!

I got my passholder reservation! Woo-hoo! Ever since the email last week I have been watching for the registration email. I had my phone email app with alerts set up. I had my outlook email (a separate app) with alerts set up. I have had bells and whistles and chirps and clangs going off all week! 🤣
Both annual pass holder and DVC member and never received an email from either one about registering.
I am dismayed that being both a DVC owner and Annual Passholder, I never received the email that was to invite us to the preview. Luckily, I saw Todd Bricker’s post on Saturday. Are Passholders less important these days?
