The countdown to the opening of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT is here!
The attraction is set to open to the general public on May 27th, 2022, and recent peeks inside the ride are generating a LOT of excitement. Recently, we told you that select groups, including DVC members, D23 Gold members, Annual Passholders, and Cast Members, would be able to register for an EARLY preview of the new attraction, and the TIME HAS ARRIVED!
Registration is NOW open for DVC members to snag a time slot to preview Cosmic Rewind before it officially opens! Eligible DVC members should have received an email regarding the registration details, but you can also find the registration link here. Once you click the link, you will be placed in a virtual queue until it’s your turn to register.
The queue opened at 9AM, so be sure to hop on as soon as you can and have your Member ID number handy to grab your spot! We expect these slots to be filled VERY quickly.
With new attractions at Disney getting similar hyped-up launches lately, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is no different. The much-anticipated attraction is slated to be one of the LONGEST fully enclosed roller coasters in the world, and the first Disney coaster to utilize a reverse launch.
The innovative ride vehicles will rotate a full 360 degrees as the coaster moves, turning guests to face different scenes in the Guardians of the Galaxy universe (think: Haunted Mansion Doom Buggies, only faster). And, the coaster is considered family-friendly, so the kiddos can ride as long as they meet the height requirements!
Stick with DFB as we prepare for the grand opening of Cosmic Rewind! We’ll be sure to bring you ALL the details on the newest attraction in EPCOT as soon as we hear them.
