We’ve tried literally EVERY cake at the Cake Bake Shop on Disney World’s BoardWalk, and we have PLENTY of thoughts.

From chocolatey goodness to peanut butter crunch and beyond, there’s a reason this spot is so popular. While the cake slices aren’t exactly cheap, they’re MASSIVE, delicious, and made with quality ingredients. So, when we saw that Cake Bake Shop teased a NEW flavor coming soon, our minds were racing with what the possibilities might be!

UPDATE! The new cake slice has been announced — the Marshmallow Dream Cake! It’s available for a limited time and is made with layers of rich French Valrhona chocolate cake filled with silky chocolate ganache, fluffy marshmallow buttercream, and mini marshmallows, all frosted in dreamy blue marshmallow buttercream ribbons and topped with Pixie Shimmer® mini marshmallows.

It’s true — the Cake Bake Shop is releasing a NEW cake flavor soon, and our mouths are watering just thinking about it. While we don’t know exactly which flavor will be coming, Cake Bake Shop revealed some hints on their social media that promise something “chocolatey, fluffy, and sweet as can be.” Tell us more, Cake Bake Shop! We need to know!

Based on this description and the video they posted, we’re guessing it might be something along the lines of chocolate-marshmallow, considering they said it would be both chocolatey, fluffy, and sweet. What would be sweeter than that?!

A few folks in the comments also guessed that it might be mint chocolate, based on the color of the minty blue icing in the video. It looks like we’ll just have to wait and see, but either way, you know we’ll be checking this new slice out and will bring you our full review when we do!

In the meantime, if you’re looking for our favorite flavors from Cake Bake Shop, you can find the full list here. Our top pick is the Peanut Butter Crunch Cake. It’s layers of chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream, chocolate ganache, and crunchy chocolate pearls between the layers. That chocolate was rich and sweet, and the ganache complemented the peanut butter nicely. The peanut butter buttercream was our favorite part, though — a delightful peanut butter flavor and some excellent texture from the crunchy pearls that made it more unique.
