While some offerings returned immediately with Disney World’s phased reopening, others took their time coming back (and still continue to — looking at you, Fantasmic!).
But recently, Disney World has welcomed the return of many sorely-missed offerings, like traditional character meet and greets, the reimagined Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond show, and soon, Victoria & Albert’s (reopening this July)! We’ve also been patiently waiting for Minnie Vans to return on June 29th, and we spotted one during our trip to the parks today!
In case you don’t know, Minnie Vans are Lyft-operated rideshare vehicles designed to look like Minnie Mouse. They provide private transportation around the Disney World property, and before the closures, Minnie Vans cost $15 plus a per-mile fee starting at $2.75 per mile (we’re still waiting on updated pricing from Disney). This has been a highly-anticipated return, which is why we were happy to spot one being driven around today!

This seems like a good sign that the service’s return is on track, and ready to be offered once again on June 29th! We spotted this one outside of Magic Kingdom today.
Reminder that when Minnie Vans return, trips to Port Canaveral and Orlando International Airport will not be available. Before the closures, trips to the airport cost $155 one-way and trips to Port Canaveral were $249 one-way
We’ll continue to bring you the latest on the return of Minnie Vans, and let you know when we receive updated prices! In the meantime, if you’re interested in reopening information, take a look at the return details for Victoria & Albert’s! Or, take a look at the return of parking lot trams in another Disney World park!

Testing?
They had been running the Minnie Van for years, what do they need to test? I hope they don’t screw it up by changing everything and making it worse like so many other DW services.
