Disney Springs is home to so many incredible restaurants that it can be difficult to decide which one to choose during a visit!
You can visit quick service spots like D-Luxe Burger for some delicious food on the go, or stop by table service restaurants like Wine Bar George or Paddlefish for a sit-down meal. Today we learned that one popular Disney Springs restaurant is closing early, so here’s what you need to know!
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ is one of our favorite places to eat in Disney Springs! Led by celebrity chef Art Smith, this restaurant features farm-to-fork Southern and Floridian dishes, including Art’s Famous Fried Chicken, the Catfish Sandwich, and even a wide selection of moonshine.
On Instagram, Homecomin’ announced that their hours are changing today. Instead of closing at 10PM as per usual, they will be closing early at 2PM. Their hours are affected today only, so tomorrow they will resume their typical 11AM to 10PM hours.
If you’re heading to Disney Springs after 2PM today with a craving for some chicken, you could visit Chicken Guy! for some fast (and delicious) chicken tender dishes, or you could get lucky and get a last-minute reservation at any number of restaurants! Try Raglan Road for some authentic Irish food or visit The BOATHOUSE for a fancier meal of steak and seafood.
Don’t forget to try joining restaurant waitlists too! Many restaurants offer Mobile Walk-Up Waitlist through the My Disney Experience app, where you can request to join a variety of open dining waitlists. You can also look for this Walk-Up Waitlist sign near restaurants or ask the host of the restaurant whether the waitlist is still open. If you can’t find a reservation, joining the waitlist is a good backup plan!
As a reminder, Homecomin’ will close early today at 2PM, but they will resume their regular hours tomorrow. Keep following DFB for more Disney World news!
