Disney World’s NEW BoardWalk Deli Has Hours Listed for August

Disney World is undergoing some massive transformations, and some of them involve FOOD.

CLOSED

Victoria & Albert’s is set to reopen with a slightly revamped space, buffets are coming back to Hollywood & Vine Restaurant, and character dining is also returning to a few spots. Over at Disney’s BoardWalk, big changes are underway as BoardWalk Bakery is being transformed into BoardWalk Deli. And now we’ve got a HUGE update on the project.

We first learned about BoardWalk Deli back in March of 2022, but now things are moving speedily along. Disney revealed recently that BoardWalk Deli would be opening in the late summer of 2022. Then, we got a first look at the new menu items that will be served there. And finally, we recently saw BoardWalk Bakery CLOSE to make way for the new deli spot.

But now we have ANOTHER update!

A big thanks to Scott Gustin for noticing this change and alerting us to it. If you visit the Disney World website for BoardWalk Deli, you’ll see that no operating hours are listed for this new spot from now through August 14th.

But on August 15th, that changes. Starting August 15th, the Deli does list operating hours. It looks like the hours are generally 7AM to 10PM.

Keep in mind that this is just what the Disney World website shows right now. Things could change in the future, and those operating hours could go away, shift to a different date, or change in other ways. For now, it looks like this could be an indication that BoardWalk Deli could open on August 15th. But again, things can change!

We’ll certainly be keeping an eye out for any official word from Disney about an opening date. For now, the website lists those hours but still notes above that BoardWalk Deli is “coming soon.” But the recent closure of BoardWalk Bakery could be a good signal that this change is coming fast.
