A Celebrity Chef Will Be Meeting Guests in Disney Springs Soon!

If meeting a celebrity chef is on your bucket list, then listen up — we’ve got some BIG news!

Celebrity Chefs have created many restaurants in and near Disney World, especially over at Disney Springs. There’s Homcomin’ from Chef Art Smith, Morimoto Asia from Chef Masaharu Morimoto, Jaleo from Chef Jose Andres, and even Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill from Chef Wolfgang Puck. Sometimes the famous chefs behind these oh-so-delicious spots grace guests with their presence in these restaurants, and soon one will be doing just that!

Mark your calendars — Chef Masaharu Morimoto will soon be visiting Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs! Chef Morimoto will be making appearances at the restaurant on Sunday, August 14th, and Monday, August 15th, during service.

Chef Morimoto will be mingling with the guests at the restaurant, helping out at the sushi bar and kitchen, and he’ll even be available for meet-and-greets!

Why is Chef Morimoto in town, you ask? Good question! Well, Chef Morimoto is actually visiting the restaurant for a specific reason. He’s celebrating 2 promotions that have been made within the Morimoto Asia culinary team.

First, Chef Yuhi Fujinaga has been promoted to Culinary Director for all of the Orlando concepts for the Patina Restaurant Group (The Patina Restaurant Group is behind quite a few restaurants in Disney World including Space 220, Maria & Enzo’s, Via Napoli, and more).

Additionally, Chef Takeshi Ikeuchi has been promoted from Executive Sous Chef to Executive Chef of Morimoto Asia.

So if you want to meet Chef Morimoto, be sure to head over to Disney Springs on those 2 days in August to see him.
