Happy Disney+ Day, friends!
Disney has celebrated the occasion with new movie releases on Disney+, a special theme park Early Entry for Disney+ subscribers, free SWAG in the parks, and new deals and discounts. If you’re at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you might have caught the Disney+ Day Motorcade, which featured a rare character! Let’s head into this park to see all the unique characters we found for Disney+ Day.
Last year, we found some unique characters at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, who were there to celebrate Disney+ Day. So we were anxious to find out who’d be there this year!
During the Disney+ Motorcade, we spotted Princess Tiana in a fashionable outfit…
…and Mirabel from Encanto! This is the first time we’ve seen Mirabel in this park (she’s part of a cavalcade in Magic Kingdom usually), so we were so excited to say hello. Unfortunately, she was not meeting guests — the only time you could see her was during the parade.
Pinocchio and Geppetto were also out just for the parade — we didn’t see them meeting people around the park today.
But a few other characters were having meet-and-greets around the park! Chip and Dale could be found in their Rescue Rangers outfits near Echo Lake.
Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers was released on Disney+ this year, so they must have been out celebrating the occasion!
Goofy and his son Max were also here to celebrate in some fantastic outfits.
They were meeting guests by the Chinese Theater.
And finally, we said hello to R2-D2 over in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. You can usually meet BB-8 over at Launch Bay, but it’s pretty rare to see R2-D2 out these days!
Those were all the unique characters we spotted at Hollywood Studios today. Disney+ Day also brought the release of a new Andor sneak peek, the announcement that BTS Permission to Dance On Stage — LA is now streaming on Disney+, and the introduction of a limited-time Disney+ discount.
