Disney is gearing up to celebrate Disney+ Day on September 8th, 2022, which means special perks for subscribers, big announcements about what’s coming soon, and some extra fun in the parks. We just found out about a NEW deal that could save you money on a Disney+ subscription!
Disney+ costs $7.99 a month (for now), but we just found a way that you can get it for just $1.99 a month! Find out how to take advantage of this awesome deal here.
Disney announced a new introductory offer for new and eligible returning subscribers. These people can get one month of Disney+ for just $1.99! The deal starts today (Sep. 7th) at 9PM PT (Sep. 8th at 12AM EST) and ends on Monday, September 19th at 11:59PM PT (Sep. 20th at 3AM EST), so get ready to subscribe and save.
You’ll visit the Disney+ site and sign up for a subscription in order to take advantage of this limited-time offer. If you’re already a Disney+ subscriber, there are a lot of perks coming for Disney+ day on September 8th! For those subscribers who are visiting Disney World, you can enter the theme parks 30 minutes before the official opening time. Click here to find out which rides will be open during that Early Entry period.
In addition, Disney+ subscribers can get a 6-month free trial of National Geographic Digital. This service includes all the National Geographic magazines ever published in the digital archive, which are accessed through the Nat Geo mobile app.
Also for Disney+ Day, some AMC theaters are going to celebrate by screening Disney movies like Encanto, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Thor: Ragnarok, Cars, and Newsies. Tickets will be $5 per person and are available to everyone (not just Disney+ subscribers). If you go to one of these movies, you’ll also get a free Disney+ poster, and subscribers will get a special concessions offer. Check out your local AMC theater to see if this is happening near you!
Remember that Disney+ is going to increase in price soon — the current ad-free service is $7.99 per month, but beginning on December 8th, 2022, ad-free streaming (Disney+ Premium) will cost $10.99 per month. Disney+ Basic (with ads) will cost $7.99.
