Disney Shares FIRST Look at ABC's 'Beauty and the Beast' Special

Okay, Beauty and the Beast fans, we’ve got some BIG news to share with you!

Beauty and the Beast in the Festival of Fantasy parade in Disney World

Remember when we told you about the Beauty and the Beast special that was in the works, starring Josh Groban as the Beast and H.E.R. as Belle? Then we all got excited when Disney confirmed Shania Twain as Mrs. Potts and Martin Short as Lumiere. Well, we’ve got a first look at the special now!

ABC just released a poster for Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration, with H.E.R. and Josh Groban! The special will be part animation and part live-action and taped in front of a live audience.

Joining the cast are Joshua Henry as Gaston, David Alan Grier as Cogsworth, and Rita Moreno as the Narrator. Needless to say, this special will be star-studded! Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration will air on ABC on December 15th and stream on Disney+ on December 16th.

If that isn’t enough Beauty and the Beast for you, you can always check out the Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage show in Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Disney World! Of course, the original animated film, as well as the live-action movie, are also both available on Disney+!
