It’s true — Disney’s Golden Oak neighborhood is home to some seriously stunning houses with some seriously shocking price tags. Several of these homes are full of Disney theming — some subtle, and some not-no-subtle. We spotted a Golden Oak home for sale a while back that featured a haunting nod to Disney World — and it just sold at the highest price for an Orlando home so far in 2023!

If you’ve always wanted to have a Tower of Terror themed elevator in your home — you may have missed out! A luxury house (mansion) in Disney’s Golden Oak neighborhood has recently sold — for Orlando’s highest price so far this year.

We spotted this house when it landed on the market back in August 2022 for $10 million. The home features 5 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, and is 9,713 square feet. Not only does it include a Tower of Terror elevator, but there’s a Lady and the Tramp range hood in the kitchen…

…and nods to Goofy, Pluto, and Chip ‘n’ Dale! The house also has multiple secret rooms and its very own never-ending hallway. So, just how much did this home actually sell for?!

A whopping $9.7 million! Apparently, the buyer was able to negotiate a $300k dollar drop in price. This makes it the highest home sale for the metro Orlando area so far this year, according to the Orlando Business Journal.
