So we’ve had a lot of HUGE Star Wars announcements over the past few days.
That’s because Star Wars Celebration Europe is happening this weekend and Disney is releasing trailers and making tons of announcements. We already got our first trailer for the upcoming Ahsoka series and we found out that THREE new Star Wars movies are on the way. Now we’ve got some news about Star Wars in Disney Parks.
At last year’s Star Wars Celebration, Disney suggested that they might have been in the process of working on new scenes for Star Tours, a ride that can be found in Disneyland Paris, Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, and Disneyland in Anaheim.
Well, Disney has officially announced that those new scenes will be added to the ride in 2024. This won’t be the first time new scenes have been added to Star Tours — the ride has been updated several times as new Star Wars movies came out.
Disney wrote, “We’re looking forward to continuing that tradition next year with all new adventures … but I can’t reveal just where we’re going yet – or those we may meet along the way – because … well … some surprises are best experienced as part of the upcoming Star Wars content also announced this weekend.”
We’ll definitely be looking out for more news about Star Tours, as well as other Star Wars updates in the parks. We’re already super excited about May being Star Wars Month in Disney World, where we hope to see some new experiences, snacks, and merchandise.
We’ll be keeping an eye out for more announcements from Star Wars Celebration, so stay tuned to DFB for more.

I am NOT INTERESTED in Star Wars month so Disney can sell more snacks and merchandise at VERY HIGH PRICES. Disney did the same thing for extended periods of time for 50th and 100th Anniversaries. Disney, give us something that will SAVE US MONEY. Eliminate the Genie Plus and Individual Attraction and bring back the Free Three Ride Fast Pass.

I was very happy to hear about the new Star Wars movies. I was especially excited to see that Daisy Ridley will be back as Rey. I think she was a great addition to the SW universe and I am glad to see that she is being given the chance to take the character further into the storyline.

Let’s hope the Star Tours ride, a favorite of many Hollywood Studios visitors, is not changed. Two of us usually go on it a couple of times a visit as we often catch different scenarios and new content.
So this ride ain’t broke so DON’T fix it!
But do something about the Millenium Falcon ride, the dullest, most disappointing ride in the Studios park. Four different tries have resulted in nothing but boredom and annoyance at time wasted in line and on the ride.
But Star Tours ALWAYS delivers a fun ride!

I love Star Wars and Star Tours, so I hope they don’t change too much, but some scene from Mando and Ahsoka would be cool.
