It’s all about runDisney, specifically the 2023 virtual series. Earlier this year we shared with you the themes for the 2023 Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, and now we’ve got news for you about the 2023 runDisney virtual events!
Runners to your marks! Disney just announced the themes and medals for the 2023 runDisney Virtual Series, and it’s all about celebrating Mickey through the years.

There are a total of three 5K races and an additional challenge of completing all three! The four events are the Steamboat Willie 5K, the Sorcerer’s Apprentice 5K, the Runaway Railway 5K, and the Disney100 Challenge.
The Steamboat Willie 5K (3.1-mile) course is a throwback tribute to Mickey Mouse’s debut role in 1928!

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice 5K (3.1-mile) course will have you conjuring up some magic by paying tribute to Mickey’s role in Fantasia.

The Runaway Railway 5K (3.1-mile) course is themed after the Runaway Railway attraction.

And then there’s the Disney100 Challenge! Here you can take on this challenge by completing all three 5K events! The finisher medal features Mickey and Minnie Mouse themselves and it doubles as a magnet that you can proudly display on your fridge, office whiteboard, or anywhere you choose.
