But sometimes the characters we like watching the most aren’t in costumes. Instead, they’re actually animals, doing the unpredictable things animals do. Did we lose our minds when sea urchins at EPCOT wore Mickey hats? Yes, yes, we did. We even recently shared a post about the animals that have been at Animal Kingdom since DAY ONE. Well, now, we have even more animal antics to share with you.

Okay, so if you’ve been to a Disney Park, you’ve probably met the REAL VIPs of Disney World, the Disney ducks.

No, not THOSE ducks — sorry, Donald and Daisy — we love you, but this post isn’t about you! We’re talking about THESE ducks.

That’s right, we’re going to tell you about some Disney ducks, which — let’s admit it — we’re all a little obsessed with. We’ve seen Disney ducks getting their own FREE VIP tour of Disneyland (because they are the REAL VIPs of Disney Parks). We’ve also been witness to a duck date. Well, now, we’re going to share the latest in Disney duck antics, and you better just be prepared to look like this:

During a recent performance of Disneyland’s Magic Happens parade, some REAL magic happened when a Mama duck and her ducklings crashed the parade, causing the parade to LITERALLY stop to let Mama and babies go by. Some Cast Members helped to escort the ducks across the street, where they continued their own parade through the park. Also, check out Miguel, who seems to be waving at the little family.

The ducks received a lot of fanfare once they had passed and pretty much stole the spotlight from the ACTUAL parade happening. Yes, we know who the REAL superstars at Disneyland are. We’re also going to commend the Cast Members who ran in to make sure these ducks had a safe trip across the street.
