There has been so much to celebrate at Disney World lately!
We were in the parks on May 4th to celebrate Star Wars Day at Hollywood Studios. Disney recently announced over 30 new treats that are coming for Mother’s Day. Today, on May 5th, not only does Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3 release in theaters, but there are also some special Disney snacks at EPCOT today celebrating the movie. And there’s something else to celebrate today too…
Of course, it is also Cinco de Mayo and there is one Disney Springs restaurant that is celebrating with a sweet treat. At Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew, available TODAY, they are featuring their Cinco de Oh-My-O Donut. This is a flaky croissant dough with cinnamon sugar, buttercream, Heath Bar bits, caramel, chocolate icing, and a churro.
If it looks familiar, that’s because it is the same specialty donut as last year, which we reviewed.
It basically tastes like what would happen if a churro was a cronut! The soft buttercream on top, when mixed with the crunchy candy, added some great contrasting texture.
It’s an over-the-top treat in both size and sweetness, so it’s great if you’re looking for a filling dessert or something to split with a friend.
