Disney World has brought back a popular offering!
That’s right, we’re talking about the Disney Dining Plan! You can book the Dining Plan for your Disney World vacation now. The plan hasn’t been available since 2020, so naturally, some things have changed. And one of those changes is important to know if you’re planning on visiting character meals!
When you add the Dining Plan to your Disney World vacation package, you’re essentially pre-purchasing your meals for the trip. This means that you’ll receive a number of credits to be used on quick service meals, table service meals, or snacks throughout your trip.
When it comes to table service dining, most restaurants only charge one credit per meal, although there are some exceptions. Dinner shows, Be Our Guest Restaurant, and signature restaurants all charge 2 table service credits per meal. Cinderella’s Royal Table is also included in this group, but now two more spots have been added to the list.
As far as character meals go, Fairytale Dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table, Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (for lunch and dinner only), and Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White will all be two-credit meals. Each of these character meals are spots where you can meet Disney Princesses while you dine.
At this time, all the other character meals on property remain one-credit experiences, but we’ll keep you updated if that changes. Those one-credit character meals can be a great use of the dining plan since they’re generally more expensive and many offer all-you-care-to-eat feasts.
We’ll keep you up to date on all the latest Disney news, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
