It’s World Princess Week, and you know how Disney World likes to celebrate — with NEW SNACKS!
It’s never a dull day around the parks, but it’s time to head over to one of our favorite Disney World hotels to see how they’re celebrating — and if you ask us, it looks pretty darn delicious.
Over at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, you can grab plenty of sweet treats at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop! And right now, you can get a limited-time milkshake: the Ariel Milkshake!
It’s a chocolate chip-mint milkshake with green caramel and a specialty vanilla cupcake for $15. Green caramel? We’re intrigued. It’s kind of giving seaweed vibes, so we’re picking up what Disney was putting down with this one. So, how does it taste?
It’s just as good as these milkshakes always are — super rich and creamy. We loved the mint chocolate flavors — it reminded us of a good mint chocolate ice cream — refreshing without tasting like toothpaste. There were pretty sizable pieces of chocolate in the shake, so it added a bit of texture. They tend to sink to the bottom the longer you wait to drink it, so make sure you stir it up.
It’s expensive, but you get to keep the souvenir cup. Also, the cupcake wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t winning any texture awards, and it was plain vanilla so a little boring. The icing was also just fine. We didn’t taste much caramel (the green addition), so we think that was mostly for looks. The white chocolate decor was also not great — chewy and mostly just there for looks.
Make sure you head over to Beaches & Cream before August 31st to get your hands on this shake — and stay tuned to DFB for the latest Disney snack news and more!
