If you’re a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) member, you’ll want to keep reading this post.
We had a chance to recently visit Disney World’s newest attraction in EPCOT (which is not open to the public yet) thanks to a Cast Member preview, but now DVC members will soon have a chance to visit Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana. Disney recently announced when DVC members can preview the new attraction. Exciting!
DVC members will have a chance to see Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana early! DVC member previews start on September 24th and run through October 4th on select days. They’re available on September 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th and October 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
If you’re a DVC member, you can bring up to four guests with you per DVC membership card. You and your guests will each need a valid park ticket to enter EPCOT and will need to provide your digital DVC membership card and photo ID to the preview check-in. You’ll enter into a standby queue for the attraction (there is no virtual queue).
You do NOT need to pre-register to attend the preview, but you are only limited to visiting the attraction once per day. The preview will be available from park opening time to 5PM.
If you’re a DVC member, make sure you check out this walkthrough attraction. We had a lot of fun with it when we visited it, plus we love how there’s finally a slightly shaded oasis with WATER to play with in the middle of EPCOT. We can imagine it’s going to be VERY popular on those super hot days. Also, be sure to check out the gorgeous bathrooms in the attraction.
Disney has not yet revealed an opening date for the attraction, but we expect an announcement soon. Be sure to stay tuned to DFB to find out when Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana opens to the public!
