Being a Disney World Annual Passholder comes with some serious perks.
But, one controversial Disney practice is sticking around for passholders in 2024 in most situations — park pass reservations. People with certain date-based tickets will no longer need to make reservations, but that often won’t be the case for passholders. And, that’s why this news we’re bringing you is so important!
Bonus park pass reservations have been added for Disney World Annual Passholders in early January! On the 4th, 6th, 7th, and 8th, passholders can make park pass reservations for select parks that won’t impact their total number of reservations held (Disney allows only so many reservations per passholder at one time).
Here’s a look at the parks available for bonus reservations each day:
- January 4th: Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- January 6th: Magic Kingdom
- January 7th: Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- January 8th: EPCOT
So, if you were planning on visiting any of those parks on those days — you can do so without it counting toward your total amount of reservations!
Keep in mind that “Good-To-Go” days are coming for Annual Passholders and Cast Members. These are days when Passholders and Cast Members will NOT have to make park pass reservations to enter the theme parks.
Essentially, Annual Passholders WILL need a Park Pass Reservation to visit Disney World parks EXCEPT in these situations:
- Good-To-Go Days
- Any day after 2PM, excluding Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays
- (Starting January 9th) You have a Park Pass and have entered that park — at this point, you can hop to any other park at any time of day.
