Have you heard of the MAJOR update coming to an iconic Magic Kingdom attraction?
Country Bear Jamboree
Country Bear Jamboree is changing in a BIG way, and now we know when the new, updated show will debut!
Disney Imagineers are updating the Country Bear Jamboree show in Magic Kingdom with “an all-new act.” The bears are going to be singing Disney songs in NEW styles, like pop-country, rockabilly, and bluegrass!
The show will close on January 27th, 2024, for refurbishment, and it’ll reopen with the updated show THIS SUMMER, 2024.

The updates are inspired by the Opry-style shows of Nashville, Tennessee. In fact, Nashville musicians are helping out with the arrangements! One of the songs we know we’ll see is a new version of “Bare Necessities” in a rockabilly style. The new show will include easter eggs throughout that nod to the previous show.

Country Bear Jamboree is one of the last attractions that Walt Disney was personally involved in creating, and it’s been part of Magic Kingdom since 1971.
