What if we told you that you could watch your favorite Disney movies… in 3D?
No, we’re not talking about special releases in theaters or DVDs that used to come with those blue and red 3D glasses (although we kind of wish we were). We’re talking about something even cooler — being able to watch your favorite Disney Movies on Disney+ with Apple Vision Pro.
Earlier in February, Apple released a new technology called Apple Vision Pro. It’s a headset that blends digital content with the space around you. We know — it sounds SO cool. Well, this new technology means that the way you can view content has changed: Now you can watch some of your favorite Disney movies in 3D using this headset.
On Apple Vision Pro, Disney+ subscribers can watch some of their favorite Disney films come to life in ways that they never could before. Right now, there are 42 movies that you’re able to view in 3D with this headset! Here’s the full list:
- Aladdin (2019)
- Alice Through the Looking Glass
- Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

It looks like this list is mostly made up of movies that have come out within the last 10 years. We’re hoping they add some of our favorite classics soon — however, we’re sure that it won’t be easy to convert those into 3D… but we can (and will) have hope for it (actually, we’re begging).
Honestly, we’re just excited that we get SO MANY movies to watch in 3D right off the bat. With the inclusion of movies like Avatar: The Way of Water, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, and Encanto — we’re excited to be able to see these new movies in a whole new light.
If you’re a Disney+ subscriber, you get access to the entire catalog of 3D movies; however, if you don’t have a Disney+ subscription but still want to watch one, no worries! Non-subscribers are able to rent or buy these movies from the Apple TV app.
