Listen, it can be a CHALLENGE to survive Disney World without any caffeine!
We’re constantly on the lookout for opportunities to drink Starbucks or Joffrey’s coffee or have a Diet Coke along with our meals in the parks. It’s what’ll keep you going when you’re on day six of your vacation and you’re running on magic and fumes! And if you’re visiting Starbucks in the Disney Parks on your next trip, we’ve got a little secret you might want to know.
The Disney World Starbucks locations will serve all your basic and popular drinks, including some of the seasonal options like peppermint or pumpkin beverages. However, not ALL of the limited-time Starbucks options will show up on the in-park menus!
We noticed this recently when we stopped by Trolley Car Cafe in Hollywood Studios. We were hoping to try the seasonal Luck of the Matcha Creme Frappucino, but it wasn’t listed on the menu! However, when we asked a Cast Member at the counter, they told us they had all the ingredients to make the drink, so we were able to order it anyway.
So now we know that even if a beverage isn’t listed on the menu, we could still ask to see if Starbucks can make it — just like a secret menu! Starbucks is known for offering lots of customizations, and we’ve been able to try a variety of off-menu options here in the past. Just in case, it’s probably a good idea to know the ingredients list for the off-menu item you want to order.
If you’re interested in ordering this particular drink, the Luck of the Matcha Creme Frappucino is $6.75 and made with Matcha Creme with matcha powder and caramel syrup, whipped cream with caramel drizzle, and caramel crunch topping. We thought the matcha was just the right amount and combined really well with the caramel flavor. It wasn’t too sweet, and it was essentially like drinking a matcha milkshake.
We’ll keep you in the loop with any more snack reviews and hacks from Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for the latest! We’ve got all the tips to help you survive the parks.
